TYPES AND RIMS INSPECTION
- It is essential that the tyres are inflated at proper perssure at all times. A low pressure will shorten tyre life and increase fuel consumption. If the pressure at the left and right tyres differ, steering will become unstable or heavy.
- To check whether the pressure are within recommended values. Remove the tyre valve cap and measure the pressure with type pressure gauge. For the forklift trucks with 1.5T load capacity, front type pressure is 7 kg/cm (100 psi), rear type pressure is 6.3 kg/cm2 (90 psi). For the forkilft trucks with 2.0T, 2.5T 3. OT load capacity, front tyre pressure is 7.7 Kg/cm2 (1 10 psi).
