- 0il level in engine. injection pump.
- Clutch and hydraulic of! level.
- Fuel level.
- Coolant level.
- Tyre pressure.

| 7- 2 DIESEL ENGINE STARTING |

- Piace gearshift levers in neutral.
- Pull parking brake lever (if it has been left in released condition).
- Turn engine switch to ''GLOW", hold it there about 5 seconds.
- Turn engine switch over to ''ONtt, make sure the warning lights
(charge and oilpressure) are on.
- Tread accelerator pedal! lightly with right foot. Turn engine switch
to "START" to crank the engine, then the engine is started, otherwise, try
again. Keep in mind that each try shouldn't be over 5 seconds.
- After the engine has been started, warm up engine by idle running.
Before starting off, lift the forks up and down twice, in order to apply oil on the entire
wall of cylinder bore.
- Dwepress the parking brake lever, set gearshift levers in proper
positions, tread accelerator pedal lightly, then the truck could
move slowly and gradually.

| 7- 3 GASOLINE ENGINE STARTING |

- Place gearshift levers in neutral.
- Pull parking brake lever (if it has been left in released condition).
- Pull choke button out about half way.
- Tread accelerator pedal 2-3 times continuously and quickly then
release it.
- Turn engine switch over to ION'., make sure the warning lights
(charge and pressure) are on.
- Tread accelerator pedal lightly with right foot. Turn engine switch
to "START" to crank the engine, then the engine is
started, otherwise, try again. Keep in mind each try shouldn't be over 5 seconds.
- After the engine has been started, warm-up engine by proper idle
running and push the choke button to bottom gradually. Before starting off, lift forks up
and down twice, in order to apply oil on the entire wall of cylinder bore.
- epre.ss the parking brake lever, set gearshift levers in proper
position, tread acceleratcr pedal lightly, then the truck could move slowly and gradually.
