(7) SEDIMENTER WARNING LIGHT
  • This light indicate the Operation condition of water The light will be up when the engine switch is turned on and down when the engine starts.
  • Sedimenter : OTHERWISE, Check the water sedimenter.

(8) ENGINE SWITCH

There are four position on Diesel engine switch, from leftmost, they are GLOW, OFF, ON and START respectively. On gasoline engine switch there are only three position i.e. OFF, ON, START. Described as following :

  1. OFF: It stops the engine.
  2. ON : After the key is inserted, turn clockwise to ON position. During normal operation, the key remains in this position.
  3. START: Start the engine at this position. After the engine is start, release the key to allow it return to the "ON" position automatically.
  4. GLOW : The preheating device is for diesel engine only. If the engine is cold, turn the key to GLOW position first, in order to warm up the engine, hold the key for 5 seconds and then turn it all the way to "START" position to start the engine.

Cautions:
  1. When the engine is shut down, do not leave the key in ON position.
  2. Never turn the key to START position while the engine is running to avoid damage of the starting motor.
  3. Do not turn the starting motor continuously more than 5 seconds each time,do not stay the key at START position more than 5 seconds each time.
  4. AIways preheat the diesel engine, do not stay the key it GLOW position morethan 10 seconds each time.
